As a Security Officer - Customer Service Patroller, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this location, you will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations. Requirements

  • Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, conditions, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete assigned reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or client representatives.
