As a Security Officer Perimeter Patroller in Secaucus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced media and technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a media and technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and/or permissions as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues.
• Support site operations during busy periods, special events, broadcasts, and/or deliveries by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions, and following post orders and escalation procedures.
