About The Position

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. In this role, you will support residents and guests with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring and innovative culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general questions, and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site guidelines.
• Support a respectful residential environment by communicating with residents and visitors professionally, following post instructions, and assisting with property-related security-related needs as appropriate.
