About The Position

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in Bowie, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting observations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and community activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or unusual behavior within the location.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with residents and staff, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or security-related concerns.
