As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in Daly City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support access control processes in accordance with location guidelines.
  • Document incidents, daily activities, and/or maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
