As a Security Officer Customer Service Driver Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily site operations with strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and other designated spaces within an industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Complete routine reports, document observations and incidents, and support site personnel with security-related requests in accordance with post orders.
