As a Security Officer Customer Care Patrol in LOS ANGELES , CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and support loss prevention and property protection efforts in accordance with post instructions and location procedures.
  • Assist with crowd management, closing procedures, and/or after-hours checks, helping to address policy violations, hazards, and maintenance-related concerns encountered during patrols.
