As a Security Officer Customer Assistance Patrol in Bloomfield, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a dynamic logistics and distribution location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, check in authorized personnel and vehicles, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Observe and report security-related concerns, damaged property, unauthorized activity, and policy violations through required reports and communication channels.
