About The Position

As a Security Officer - Credit Union Patrol Driver in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor badging. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, allowing you to cover assigned areas and respond to calls for service. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disputes, and suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial services location, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas as assigned.
Complete access control and visitor management duties, such as verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes when required, and directing guests to the appropriate area.
Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and entry points, and report irregular conditions according to post orders.
Perform routine checks of doors, locks, lighting, and restricted areas, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential loss.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in daily logs and incident reports with clear, timely, and accurate details.
Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership to coordinate responses, request assistance, and provide status updates as needed.
Assist with closing and/or opening procedures as assigned, including verifying area readiness and reporting maintenance concerns.
Support emergency and evacuation procedures as directed, including guiding occupants to designated areas and supporting responding personnel.
