As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will drive between assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports and questions with professional customer service. You will document activity using a computer and/or tablet while supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people first, always acting with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through required channels.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Perform access control duties by monitoring authorized entry, observing visitor activity, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process per site requirements.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate unusual activity to the appropriate parties.
Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, including observations from patrols, interactions, and any follow-up actions taken.
Assist with customer-facing support such as providing directions, answering general questions, and helping to de-escalate tense situations when appropriate.
Support opening and closing procedures as assigned, including checking doors, gates, and common areas for irregularities.
Maintain a professional presence while following Allied Universal standards, client instructions, and post orders throughout the shift.
Coordinate with site management, local law enforcement, and/or emergency services when directed by site procedures and the situation warrants.
