Job Description As a Security Officer - Credit Union Patrol in LONE TREE, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff and visitors with a customer-first approach. Using clear communication and strong integrity, you will document observations and share updates with the team, bringing agile, reliable, and innovative service to every shift.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial services location, including offices, lobbies, and perimeter areas as applicable.
Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and report findings per site procedures.
Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or tampering.
Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incident response, and/or unusual observations using site-required documentation systems.
Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors with directions, access procedures, and other site-related requests while maintaining a professional presence.
Coordinate with site contacts and/or responding emergency services when incidents require escalation, following post orders and communication protocols.
Support opening and closing routines as assigned, including walkthroughs and verification of controlled access areas.
Operate security-related equipment as assigned, which may include radios, access control systems, and/or video monitoring in accordance with site policy.
