As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of docks, yards, and interior areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will communicate clearly with site leaders, drivers, and team members while delivering responsive customer service with integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points and truck traffic flow, verify identification and/or credentials as directed, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity per post orders.
• Complete timely written reports including incident reports, shift activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
