As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening individuals and materials, verifying credentials, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site procedures.
  • Verify identification, visitor authorization, shipping documentation, and access credentials before permitting entry to restricted areas.
  • Monitor access points, loading areas, and screening equipment; report irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, and damaged equipment to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
