About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Lifecycle Management in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the distribution location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery or pickup documentation.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, gates, loading areas, and access-control systems; maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
