About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Lifecycle Administrator in Sanford, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive auction location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a secure environment through professional communication, customer service, and routine site observations. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points for the automotive auction location, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, vendor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated entrances, exits, and restricted areas, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, vehicle storage areas, access gates, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
