Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols for an industrial location.
• Monitor access points, check credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other site activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Support emergency response activities, enforce site rules related to restricted areas and personal protective equipment requirements, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations through proper channels.
