As a Security Officer Credential Check Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, control rooms, gates, and/or loading areas.
• Screen incoming visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, maintain accurate access logs and related documentation, and report unusual activity through established communication channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, fence lines, and perimeter areas to help to identify security-related concerns and report conditions that may require attention.
