About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Administration in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, reviewing visitor and driver authorization, issuing credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
  • Monitor access points, delivery and shipping areas, and camera systems, reporting suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and facility concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
