Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and interact with visitors and employees in a professional manner while performing screening procedures at the location entrance.
Conduct screening of individuals, packages, and/or belongings using approved methods and equipment to help to deter prohibited items from entering the premises.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to entry protocols and access control.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions and directing them to appropriate locations within the facility.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and report any suspicious behavior or items to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
