About The Position

As a Security Officer Country Club Entry Authorization in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and supporting residents and visitors with professional service. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while helping to deter incidents. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.
