About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Corporate Site in Boston MA. Saturday and Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM. Starting Pay is $22.15 Per Hour. Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Ideal Candidate is Comfortable With Computers, Customer Service, Alarms and Access Control. Requirements

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
  • Monitor the front desk area, manage visitor access and sign-in processes, and help to document arrivals, departures, and other front lobby activity in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and/or escalate concerns to appropriate contacts when needed.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support day-to-day front desk operations while helping to maintain awareness of security-related concerns within the lobby and entry areas.
