In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations through communication, routine patrols, and professionalism while reflecting a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details to site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe building activity, and assist with visitor and contractor interactions in accordance with location protocols.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and/or management regarding security-related concerns and service needs.
