About The Position

As a Security Officer Corporate Lobby Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a premier commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will stay visible, support tenants and visitors, and respond to daily site needs with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations to property management and/or designated personnel.
  • Support day-to-day property operations by assisting with visitor directions, observing vendor and delivery activity, and communicating professionally with tenants, guests, and/or first responders.
