As a Security Officer Unarmed Security Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or supervisors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, report hazards, and support a professional environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help manage authorized access, assist with visitor directions, and support daily operations in accordance with post instructions.
  • Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues.
