As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Role in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • 2 or more years of security-related experience are required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorized entry as directed, and communicating with property management and/or first responders when needed.
  • Support daily operations at a high-traffic commercial location by assisting with directions, answering questions, and reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations.
