Security Officer - Corporate Patrol

As a Security Officer - Corporate Patrol in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a driving patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. This role offers the chance to deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Minimum of 6 months of security related experience.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe onsite activity, and support lobby and/or entrance operations by assisting with authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious behavior.
- Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and relay maintenance, life-related, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.
