As a Security Officer - Corporate Lobby Ambassador, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or access credentials, and following site-specific security-related procedures at the front desk.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, manage visitor registration and sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support employees, guests, and vendors while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns in a professional financial services setting.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
