Job Description As a Security Officer - Corporate Front Desk in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access and sign in procedures, monitor cameras and alarms, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will help to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence while supporting a people-first experience. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution front desk location.
  • Control access at the front desk by greeting and screening visitors, managing sign-in and/or badge processes, and directing authorized individuals to the correct area.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras and/or alarms as assigned, and report suspicious or unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and shift handoffs, including tracking keys, deliveries, and/or contractor check-ins per site-specific policy.
