About The Position

As a Security Officer - Corporate Front Desk in Millburn, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome staff and visitors, manage check-in, issue and verify credentials, and monitor lobby activity and communications. You will respond to security-related calls and service requests with calm, professional customer care, helping support a positive experience for everyone on site. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor protocols, and other security-related policies for a healthcare location.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue temporary badges and/or passes, manage sign-in logs, and direct guests and vendors to appropriate destinations in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras and/or alarm indicators from the reception area, documenting unusual conditions and notifying appropriate personnel as needed to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete daily reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs, communicating security-related updates to oncoming personnel and client representatives.
