As a Security Officer Continuous Patrol Presence in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a professional financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures to help support authorized access and orderly operations.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating professionally with employees and guests, providing directions when needed, and assisting with security-related inquiries and/or post instructions.
