As a Security Officer - Concierge in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Security Professional in a manufacturing and industrial location, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and deliveries. In this driving post, you will help support access activities, monitor front desk operations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor visitor and contractor access at the lobby or reception area, assist with sign-in processes, verify credentials, and report unusual activity according to site protocols.
  • Answer phones, greet employees and guests, and communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or first responders when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Support daily front desk operations within a manufacturing and industrial location by maintaining awareness of entry activity, processing deliveries or service requests, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
