About The Position

As a Security Officer - Concierge Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and/or notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter, noting conditions, access concerns, and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity to help support authorized access practices and report suspicious behavior.
• Assist staff, visitors, and/or vendors with directions, entry procedures, and other site-related questions while maintaining professional communication.
