As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, monitor alarms and/or cameras, and document incidents and requests. You will be a visible, professional presence who helps promote a secure environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Have security-related experience of 5+ years.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Staff the front desk to help manage access by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, and directing personnel to the appropriate areas.
  • Answer phones and assist with administrative front desk tasks such as maintaining visitor and delivery logs, documenting incidents, and communicating updates to site contacts.
  • Monitor entry points and available systems such as cameras and alarms to help identify unusual activity and support security-related reporting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and public responders when required.
