As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, managing access, checking credentials, and supporting a welcoming lobby experience. You will monitor cameras and other security-related systems, respond to incidents and/or questions, and coordinate communications with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue temporary badges and/or passes as required by site procedures, and assist with visitor check-in and check-out using site systems.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras and/or alarm panels from the front desk, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
  • Answer and route phone calls, coordinate deliveries and service vendors per site requirements, and help maintain an orderly reception area consistent with site expectations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
