Job Description As a Security Officer - Concierge Desk in Chamblee, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a government location, you will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, supporting access control, visitor check-in, and ID verification. You will monitor the lobby area, handle calls and inquiries, document security-related activity, and communicate concerns to the team. Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a government public health location by following site-specific access control procedures, greeting visitors, and directing them to the appropriate department and/or waiting area.
  • Monitor the lobby and entry points for security-related concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior, and report issues per site policy.
  • Verify visitor identification and appointments as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate sign-in and sign-out logs and required documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services in accordance with post orders.
  • Operate and monitor front desk communications and systems, including phones, radios, and/or cameras when assigned, and complete routine reports such as activity logs and incident documentation.
