Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces, assisting with access control procedures and directing individuals according to location policies and posted rules.
  • Support daily operations by observing crowd activity, addressing disturbances professionally, and providing visible presence throughout the location during assigned shifts.
