As a Security Officer - Community Mobile Patrol in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol the community, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess CPR certification preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential communities, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and community traffic, assisting with visitor entry procedures, resident inquiries, and/or vendor arrival protocols in accordance with location guidelines.
• Support incident reporting and follow-up by preparing clear, timely records of patrol activity, resident interactions, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related events.
