About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Property Access in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, verify credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial locations by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and maintaining required access records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, facility entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or access-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle, employee, visitor, and delivery access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
