Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree in criminal justice.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a guard card.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access control protocols at a government location.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and/or credentials, and document authorized access in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Communicate with site contacts, visitors, and/or public personnel regarding entry requirements, directions, and security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting issues through appropriate channels.
