Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel to incidents and requests for assistance within the commercial real estate location.
• Receive and document incoming calls, alarms, and messages, accurately recording information and relaying details to appropriate staff members.
• Coordinate with on-site security-related teams to respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications throughout the shift.
• Support Allied Universal in providing customer service by carrying out site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and security-related personnel to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks or suspicious activity and promptly report findings according to site protocols.
