About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as College Campuses, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a College Campus, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will bring reliability and professionalism to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to a College Campus.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify issues that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify credentials when required, and assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions and general information.
• Support site personnel during routine operations, special events, and/or restricted access situations by following post orders and communicating clearly with supervisors and local authorities as needed.
