As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a busy College Campus, you will coordinate officer activity, monitor cameras and alarms, document incidents, and communicate updates to site teams to help support smooth operations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• At least 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities for a college campus.
• Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms, access control, and/or camera systems, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating response with on-site personnel using radio and phone communications.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, sending appropriate resources, and relaying updates to leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident documentation, including time-stamped activity, notifications made, and follow-up actions taken.
• Support regular and random patrol operations by tracking officer activity, directing patrol coverage to help to deter unwanted activity, and communicating site-specific instructions based on current conditions.
