About The Position

As a Security Officer Clinical Response Patrol in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, disruptions, and/or policy violations by monitoring entrances, observing visitor activity, and following post orders for restricted or sensitive areas.
  • Complete routine reports, document incidents and/or observations, and relay relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
