About The Position

As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Applicable vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to support authorized access, observe for policy-related concerns, and document security-related incidents and/or suspicious activity.
  • Assist with de-escalation, directions, and general assistance for patients and visitors while maintaining a visible presence and following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
