About The Position

As a Security Officer - Cleared Patrol in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access activities while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a DOD Clearance
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated access points, verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
• Support security-related operations within a dynamic aero and defense location by maintaining awareness of changing conditions, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, access, and operational issues promptly.
