As a Security Officer Clearance Required Unarmed Patrol in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting conditions that could require security-related follow-up.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and following site access protocols.
• Support location operations by communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.
