About The Position

As a Security Officer Clearance Required Driver Operations in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess supervisory experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and authorized access to technology-focused facilities, documenting and reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, technology spaces, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and support compliance with site-specific security-related procedures.
