You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas; verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures; and maintain a professional, courteous presence.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential hazards.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, documenting observations, patrols, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
