As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Building Access Control & Mobile Response Driver in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and customer service needs. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and support a welcoming retail environment by observing visitor activity, assisting with directions, and communicating unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Support protection of merchandise and company property by following established procedures for suspicious activity, alarms, access control, and incident reporting.
