As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties, making you a key part of our agile and reliable team that always puts people first.

Requirements

One or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas as required by site policies.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or hazardous conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment within the location.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by site protocols.
Participate in emergency response activities, drills, and training sessions as needed for the location.
